I'm not very familiar with the Copper Rose, but is the tip just a "cap"? I'd probably just take a pair of pliers and pop one of the tips off of a bullet if a warden wanted to check.2022 I had a warden check my deer permit, but no mention of ammo. FMJ would likely never be an issue unless they were trying to jam you up for something else.
I remember carrying an expanded hard cast lead bullet in my pocket to show wardens who questioned my use of hard cast lead in handguns for hunting. There was an expanding bullet requirement in the WA state hunting regs for a long time, and I had been questioned about it enough that I started carrying proof that they'll expand just to be safe.
