Does anyone know if this is a USA based supplier that was shutdown between 1/20/2021 and 1/19/2025?

We can, we're just more heavily regulated than China. Just like they closed down the last lead smelter in the USA several years ago. We just need companies to start producing again, and when the regulators try to stop them we remind them Chevron Deference was overturned. So unless Congress specifically passes a law regulating something, they can't enforce what they think should be law.

To be fair, what the Chinese do to their citizens would often not be acceptable here. Save a few bucks, expose your workers and the surroundings to god knows what sort of risks and chemicals. There ought to be a happy medium. Perhaps it will be that safely produced US powder will cost $75 a lb.
