Ring Height

I kept the Nightforce my wife got me and have a ring question. The scope is the NXS 5.5-20X56 (with zero stops). It's going on my Remington Sendero SFII in 300 Ultra on a Seekins 20 MOA one piece base. I picked up a pair of NF aluminum medium rings which are listed as 1.00 inches high. When I dummied up this setup I had just the right amount of clearance on everything with just enough clearance between the objective and barrel to slip the NF bikini cover on. Sounds perfect except I would like to rund Seekins rings to match my base. The Seekins site lists his highest rings in 30mm at 0.97 which if the measeurment is done the same way would make it too close - I think. If anyone has experience with both of these rings and could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I dont think I would change a thing !!!!

Sounds like you all ready have the good stuff and every
thing fits and looks good.

The main reason for using the NF rings on the Night force
scope is that the finish will match. If you switch to the
Seekins rings they will probably not match.

I allways recomend staying with the same brand rings and scope,
and even the bases when possible.
