Rifle values

Heck maybe it's not a custom build I'll send some pics
My thinking it is a custom build built on a commercial action. In any case FN is a quality action. And if the barrel says FN then it could be a factory rifle in 6.5-06. I've never heard of that ever being offered.

I have a Fn Herstal bolt action rifle made in Belgium, the caliber is 6.5 x 06. The rifle is in excellent condition and I think it's a m98 not sure. It's a custom made commercial long range hunting rifle with the Mauser action. Can anyone tell me what the rifle may be valued at, and is it what I think it is. Thank you
I have a custom Mauser action 6.5 x 06 myself and have hunted Texas deer and hogs with it for over 40 years. I'd be interested to see some pics of yours and compare. I don't know much about this rifle other than it has a heavy Douglas bull barrel, a custom wood stock and was 'built' by my first wife's uncle. It's also extremely accurate. I pegged a 150 lb sow right between the eyes at 287 yards this past season.

Our actions look the same to me. My rifle has a SN of J1906 on it.

Looks like a custom gun built by someone's local 'smith on a FN commercial action. I had a similar one once. It shot very well, but was a bit heavy.

OP like this??

Hard to know without seeing rifle, to many unknowns to include bottom metal which could cost half as much as the action itself.
