What rifle scope brands/models have numerical markings on their windage and elevation adjustments as opposed to just hash marks? The scope would be for big game hunting and not dialing so capped turrets would be preferred but an exposed elevation turret could work for me, also. I am only really familiar with the old Leupold Vari-x lll system and was it was resettable to zero. Thank you

Pretty much all modern rifle scopes are resettable to zero. You will hear the term "slip the turrets" meaning whether it requires tools or are tool less, you loosen set screws and turn them back to zero; or some simply lift up to turn and then seat back in place.

I was going to say the same thing. Examples that I've used Vortex, Burris, Riton, Arken (windage), bushnell.

In fact, the only brand I've used that I can think of that doesn't have numerical values and is reset able back to zero is Zeiss.

Might be nice if they had indication of center for windage and elevation. That way wouldn't have to crank all one way then fully the other way and divide by 2 to get center point. And windage adjustable rings. I guess looking at the turrets can work as long as you remember which way they were turned to zero the load.

I find the going to the stop in one direction, then all the way beck in the other and then halving it a little annoying also. I have found that most mfgs publish total moa adjustment for W & E, so I just go the the stop in one direction and go back 1/2 the specified range. It won't necessarily be exactly the middle but close enough for centering purposes.
