Throwing away all my .338 brass and starting over. Most of it is 20+ years old. Does it matter Winchester or Remington?
Notices at Cabelas the Winchester was approx. $3.00 more per 50 rounds.

Don't know about the .338 but in other calibers I like the Winchester better. It seems more consistant and not as many split necks.

Which 338? WM, Wby, Norma, Lapua, RUM, RCM?

If Lapua or Norma make the brass, then there's no contest.

Otherwise, you just have more prep, fireform, sort, and discard to get to your desired level of uniformity.

Between Rem and Win brass, I think it's a toss up as to the number of reloads before annealling or tossing.

Has it constantly been reloaded? Just being "old" doesn't hurt it a bit
