My bro in law just purchased one. Shoots factory Hornady 143 gr .5 moa. Loaded some of the 143 Hornady with both Retumbo , R-26, and H1000 and they all shoot into a ragged hole. COL same as the factory rounds. I think it is great value in a rifle.
I'd be on the phone daily till they made it right.I was excited about a ridgeline. Bought one in 300 win mag. Shot it once with a light load, fouled so bad it didn't clean after 30 patches. Bought it so I could hunt with it this year. Sent it back to CA a month ago. They have had it longer than I have. Won't be hunting with it this year. I won't ever but another one and couldn't recommend one.
Well, frustrating as I know it is, at least you have other options and won't have to sit it out.I've been calling them once a week. My season starts this Saturday, they told me last Thursday I would have it by then, that they would check it and give me a call. I am thinking that they have so many defects coming back that they can't keep up. Guess I'll be shooting my 6.5 wsm that I made or my 28 nosler that I just built.
So are you saying you would shoot a braked rifle without ear protection ?Not all of them punish the shooter with the sound and blast.
Occasionally I have no choice but whenever possible I do.So are you saying you would shoot a braked rifle without ear protection ?
If it's braked you should be wearing ear protection anyways or at least I do.
