As stated. Whats the best way to remove corrosion from INSIDE old brass.

My brother gave his Son an old 308 Norma Mag that our Grampa had built and ask if I would load up some rounds with what empty brass he had.
Well I had him bring the rifle and the probably almost 30 year old "good" amo over so I could take a look at it (25 rounds or so). The empty brass looks good but I pulled the bullets out of the loaded rounds and literally had to break loose and almost dig the powder out of some of them with a small long rod and there is a good bit of corrosion still in them that my vibrating case cleaner with walnut shell will not clean up.
Your suggestions... Thanks

I would try tumbling with magnetic stainless steel shavings along with Dawn and lemishine. Then let tumble for 3 hours and rinse a couple of cases to see how clean they are. Let me know if you need more details. You will want to inspect closely in case there is heavy pitting in the brass making it too thin for safe use.

25 cartridges!!!!!. Throw it away and just purchase new ammo or Brass and start with new reloads.
Don't waste your time and effort. If you have corrosion inside of the cartridge and the powder was stuck inside.
Safety factor

Thanks to everyone.
I will have my gun smith take a look at them with a bore scope.
Mean while I may begin the search for 100 rounds of new brass

Thanks again
