Removing copper anit-seize from barrel threads

I have a remage barrel that I want to remove the anti-seize from the threads. What is the best product to do this?

Gun scrubber or brake cleaner would be my choice.

Brake cleaner- non- chlorine formula

I always found that acetone took it right off.

I suppose acetone would work as well, but I just hang it over the trash box, spray with brake cleaner and let it drip away...
