Remington Custom Shop African Plains Rifle (APR) 300WinMag
-LOP 13.5"
-Manufacture Date based on Barrel Code(LQ): February 1996
-Barrel Length: 26"
-one small mark on butt stock (SEE PIC)
Call me fickle but I bought this rifle in the fall with hopes of hunting it. Sighted it in but used an old favorite all season...
Bought it unfired and shot 12 shots myself during sight-in and barrel break-in. Tried Nosler 190gr ABLR and Hornady 150gr Interlock factory ammo. Both shot 1.5" groups at 100yds. without trying.
I was hopeful for load development and the bedded, alleged Hart barrel but things change....
