Most Remingtons have 1 in 9" twist. You can measure yours with a cleaning rod and a tight patch. Put a tight patch on a cleaning rod and run it into the bore almost to the muzzle. On the handle end with a sharpie pin mark you a spot on the rod. Now pull the cleaning rod back out until you see your marked spot rotate back to the same position as it was when you marked it. Measure between the two marks. This will give you the twist. If it is 9" between the marks then it means that you have a barrel that takes 9" for the bullet to rotate 360*.
