Selling my Remington 700 Ultimate ML that was custom made in .45 caliber. Built by Procision Arms in Washington, PA. $3500.00 shipped
- Built off a used remington 700 ultimate action
- Arrowhead gen 2 breech plug was added so that smokeless powder can be used
- Action was fully bedded into a Mcmillan carbon fiber game warden stock
- Stock was trimmed by my smith to fit the ramrod
- Trigger Tech trigger added
- Completely cerakoted metal with ramrod to match
- Flutted Brux barrel
- Spiral cut bolt with black cerakote
- Muzzle brake added by my smith that can easily be removed for cleaning
- It will ship with the 20 MOA Nightforce 2 piece rail bases
- Nightforce NX8 2.5-20 is separate but can be purchased for $1600.00 with the nightforce rings
- Bipod is not being sold
- Comes with everything you need to shoot. Arrowhead 310 gr. bullets, swinglock die, Arrowhead primer modules, depriming kit, and if you live close or are willing to meet I have powder.

Shoots unbelievable. Currently using 65.0 grains of H4198 averaging 2640 fps. Easy 1/2 or better MOA rifle.
Gun is almost flawless besides some light marks on the muzzle brade and the ram rod from loading. It has been shot just over 100 times. I no longer have the time to muzzleload hunt during our short two week season in NC. Can ship in a gunwerks cut out padded case for an extra $200.00. Call or text with questions 724-366-0374. I have references on here if needed.

Going the smokeless route was the best decision I ever made. I don't think I've ever seen a smokeless that doesn't shoot totally lights out.
Also, seems that H4198 is the powder of choice for them all…..I shoot the same stuff just a little heavier charge (73gr) with a Pittman 325.
Somebody will get a muzzleloader that will make them forget about pellets, messy cleanups, clouds of smoke and limited range.
Not to mention that is one sharp looking build…..good luck selling.

I forgot to ask, what's the barrel length?
Sorry, I forgot to mention that. Its barrel is a total of 25 3/4 with the brake. It weighs 10 lbs 10 oz with the Nightforce and it's neoprene scope cover. Pretty light for a gun with that size barrel IMO. You're correct in your comments about smokeless guns. Huge advantage over traditional ML's. Cleaning is much easier, accuracy is comparable to regular rifles, and they can switch back and forth to blackhorn if need be.

65 grains was just the right amount of recoil for me. It shot 4198 really well with 67 grains as well. Very very easy to tune. I also put the bullets through the swing lock die twice as the accuracy gets better when they are easier to load. My 4 year old helps me load it if that tells you how easy the bullets go down. Overall, a fantastic rifle.

Bump for a rifle that will change the way you view Muzzleloaders.
It's the same rifle that some of the prominent builders are charging $6000 for. Sure they're using "higher end" actions but is it really worth almost double the price ? The breech assembly and barrel drive accuracy with these rifles.
