Remington 700 Mountain Rifle 30-06

I'm selling a Remington 700 in the now discontinued Mountain Rifle model with the bell and carlson stock. It is in 30-06 with a 22 inch barrel. Overall good condition (see pictures). The bolt needs to be bead blasted as it has light surface rust. I think the bolt was previously cerakoted but the light rust, which can be taken off by bead blasting, has come through. One small mark on the under side of the stock (also pictured) One small mark on the floor plate (also pictured). The recoil lug has been bedded.

I never reloaded for it because it was my father's. He used factory ELDMs and they shot just under an inch. I'm sure the gun could do better. I will weigh it in the morning and reply.

Sorry for the delay. The gun weighs 6 lbs 6 ounces, with the Talley rings.

Is that stock the rubber coated one? Looks like it might be in the pictures.

Bell and Carlson stocks are made of fiberglass. It has a very grippy feel but it is not rubber coated. I hope this helps.

Yeah mine looked just like it with a type of rubberized finish thanks.
