SOLD/EXPIRED Remington 700 KS Custom Shop 375 H&H Magnum

It does fine actually.

I've hunted with a few different rifles chambered in 375 H&H, and the recoil from them is more of a push than a punch in my opinion.

The brake really makes a difference on this one, but I wouldn't hesitate to hunt without it, using one of the thread protectors instead.
 
I couldn't help but notice the weight of the rifle. How does it handle off the bench?
I have a rem 700 lightweight limited edition in 375h@h... My rifle weighs 8# including Burris rings and a 6x Nikon Monarch scope. My rifle does NOT have a brake and I shot it into a sub 2" group at 200 yards this last weekend with a test load. The known good loads for this rifle will do better.
As far as recoil without a brake; it'll get your attention for sure but it won't hurt a bit if you can handle a magnum shotgun.
