I haven't thought much about it, I just saw "6.5-06", the drool started and the wheels started spinning. It's always been on my list. I'm open to suggestions, the 94 and cash maybe or the 444 straight up with all the furniture.
Have no business adding another caliber, I don't have time to load and shoot everything now.

I fire formed some 7x57AI this morning for a rifle I finished two years ago and haven't touched.

Who did the barrel job?

What does it weigh?

Was the action trued up when you had it rebarreled?

I sent a Remington 700 270 bdl to Douglas they rebarreled action the gun I sent them was from the 70's early 80's I don't think it was ever fired.

Maybe I missed it, but what is the length of the barrel?

I have a 450 Marlin guide gun with a 1-5 vx3.. It's fast and deadly with 300gr. Barns whislers... Elk and big bears are no match for it.. Would make a great hog gun too..
