Hey guys, I recently picked up a new Remington 700 sa, xlr carbon chassis, walker trigger, nightforce 1 piece direct mount, and a McCree's Precision 6.5 creedmoor barrel. I have seen a few remage setups that shoot well and decided to do one of my own. So, I began checking reviews and shopping prices and decided on the McCree barrel. Scott told me, on the phone, that he guarantees 1/2moa or better with factory hornady match ammo, which really tickles my fancy. So, I assembled the rifle and mounted my gen1 vortex pst. Took it out back today, to zero my scope. 1st 2 shots went low left, 2nd 2 shots were inch low and left, 3rd group was 3 shots and were just off left and high. final adjustments put it right in the bull, with 6 shots! The barrel performs every bit as good as scott assured me it would. The group in the bull measures .4375" center to center, which is great for factory 147gr ammo. That is only the 1st 13 shots through this pacnor blank and I believe that it will tighten up a bit after a full break-in and with handloads. So if anyone is considering a remage, give the mcree a shot, pun intended! the bull is about 1/16 bigger than a dime
