Reloading tss T and #4 buck loads

Alright guys, I'm looking for a starting point on loading 12 ga TSS T and #4 Buck in 2 3/4" and 3" hulls. I'm new to shotshell loading. I've been online and there's not much info on anything other than turkey. Just want to hammer some yotes and hogs. I've killed several with plain 00 buck but want to see how the tss does.

I'm not wanting to make stack/duplex loads. Just starting points for T and #4 buck.
Powder? Hull? Wad? Weight/pellet count?

You should rethink you shot size as you are way too big for those animals, #4 buck is for brown bears. the penetration is unbelievable until you witness it. I shoot #9's for Canada geese out to ~90 yards and the patterns are very tight, less choke is more. Coyotes to 80 yards with number 5's. Look at the chart in the link and choose the right shot size.

I'm assuming if you purchase their starter kit, you get the load data? I've had it in my cart for a couple days but haven't bought it. I did message them through facebook but haven't got a response and their forum seems to no longer work.

Would you think BB would be a better choice? Especially for hogs being in the mix? I don't mind over kill at all.

Here's my 2 cents.... Be CAREFULL!!! Tungsten (TSS) shot is much harder than the steel that your gun barrel & choke is made out of.
"Don't Over CHOKE" the tungsten (TSS) shot. Lead shot deforms when shot for a shotgun and Tungsten shot doesn't deform.

Never shot a hog, but for coyote, I would suggest #4 shot pellets as ideal. #2 or #3 shot would be the largest I'd ever consider for coyote.

I'd load a separate size TSS for hogs. No reason to limit your shotshells to only one shot size.

Hogs are way tougher critters than coyote. Maybe BBs...

I loaded and shot TSS for pheasants this year. The performance is incredible. I loaded both 28 and 12 gauge. I didn't use more than IC in either gun. It really is hard to wrap your head around the ballistics of TSS. It is exponentially better than anything else out there. BPI has some great free data available and more that you can purchase. They also have all the components that you'd need. Geese and turkey at beyond 75 yards using nothing but 410s is very real. Good luck in your loading!

Having killed a single hog 10 or so years ago with shotguns, I recall my 3" 12 ga with 4 buck lead, and my buddy shooting 3" 12 ga with 00 buck lead. We found 22 or 23 pellets of 4 buck under the hide on the off side shoulder, shot straight through. My buddy being a half second later, shot angling through from the flank toward the shoulder, we found 11 or 12 of the 00 buck under the hide, with no penetration of the off side hide by either. This was about a 200 pound boar. I wouldn't shoot anything less than 4 buck on coyotes either. I have seen as a youth, a coyote taking #4 bird shot, emptying two shotguns, and still got away... This was at the range of just in sight, in front of the pickup bumper while crossing a milo field. I expect that in the rough crossing that not all of the shots reached the coyote, and it probably died elsewhere, but I did see a couple shots take effect. My buddies that trapped and called a lot, always shot 4 buck usually in 3" or 3 1/2" 10 and 12 ga. As always, your mileage may vary.

This thread is a discussion of 100% tungsten pellets and tungsten buckshot.
Your experiences are with 100% lead pellets and lead buckshot.

The difference between the two is:

Lead shot = Daisy Red Ryder BB gun.
Tungsten shot = 460 Weatherby Magnum.

Lead shot = paper airplane.
Tungsten shot = Space X rocket.
