Reloading data 28 nosler with a 1-9 twist barrel

How did your testing pan out?

Found a nice node at 3148 fps/ES 14/SD 7. Using the 175 ELDX, 26 Nosler case, 78.4gr Retumbo, CCI-250. I'm happy with this load out. I pushed it faster at 3200 fps and then I got a 3229 fps and that bullet was sight unseen at the target?! Pretty sure it burned up on entry?! I chambered my barrel with headspace gauges on the minimum and I'm at around 100 -125 rounds fired so far.

Thanks, but I'l stick with the 8lber of Retumbo I got for this new barrel. After years of load development with the 7 STW, I'v learned to keep the load development simplified.

How many grains of RL33 are you loading?

I was at 87, my new 28 nosler is 86.6
