Does anyone out there have any recommendations for powder charges/types and OAL for 6.5wby rpm? I have found a few different sources giving OAL but the sources all use the same OAL for every bullet including some that are the same bullets with 0.004in difference. Should I worry about the OAL differences or am I being overly sensitive to a hair difference? Also I hope to be using the 156gr Berger eol bullets so any specific data on those would be wonderful but I also have some 130gr bthp gamekings I might use or can buy new if needed. Thanks for any help!

So you are asking a ton of questions here. OAL in reloading manuals really doesn't mean anything. Each rifle is different and each one has restrictions on reaching the lands of the barrel. Some floor plate rifles have more success and mag based rifles because there's more room depending on the specific rifle. I always tell people to start at .020 off the lands or .020 off the max you can fit in the mag.

Powder is going to depend on what you can get. Anything from h1000-n570 is going to work. If you want to shoot the 156 get n570, lighter bullets I would use h1000 or retumbo
