Reloading 45colt?

No pistola! Only rifles LOL. Well, looks like no one is concerned about powder fill in that big dog case. Guess I won't be then either! You normally have to (should) worry about that with precision, target, long range (whatever) type rifle cartridges so it made me wonder. There's a lot of loads out there to try and I just did this one since I had the powder. Thanks all
 
I used IMR 4227 in a revolver load, and experienced unburned powder exiting the muzzle. It was so long ago I do not recall which primer, but if published loads allow for it, I would recommend that or a WLP. And probably a firm crimp.
I stopped using 2400 years ago for that reason. Even tried LRPs and stupid amount of crimp. Still had unburned powder every where.
