Reloading 270wsm

I want to start reloading for my 270 wsm browning A-bolt. I was wondering what loads, brass, primers, bullets do you guys use, and any tips and recommendations. I've been using a super x power point 150 grain

Every 270 wsm barrel I've had ran on Federal 210 or BR2 primers, no need for Magnum primers. I do primer tests and the regular rifle primers always shot best for me in my barrels.

The last two barrels were shooting 150gr VLD and Retumbo or RL26. Since RL26 is effectively extinct you could try RL25, IMR8133, or even H1000.
Just installed my third barrel and am going to try 140gr Classic Hunter they have a higher BC than the 150gr VLD!!! .528 G1 vs .518 G1 and when Bullets.com went under I bought 1200 for about $28 a box!

I have gotten very good results with 150 Berger VLD and IMR 7977, in Norma cases and WLRM primers. IMR 7977 worked very well with 150 grain bullets . I have used IMR 4350, RL22, RL19 with 140 Accubonds, in Norma cases.

I have been happy with 140 Accubond and MagPro. I use to use RL25 but accuracy seems better with MagPro.

What's your velocity with 7977?

My x bolt loves 140 AB over IMR 4350 extremely accurate
