recoil lug sizes

On a rem 700 action how do you determine which size recoil lug to use. I never realized there were so many until I went to order one.

There is really no set rule. Pick one and go on with your work.

I would recomend the Holland Recoil Lug. I use them pretty most every build that requires a recoil lug.
