There is only one brand worth considering in my book. ThunderBeast and i use either their Ultra 9 or Magnus on all my larger than life 300's

TBAC was my #1 choice. I was looking at Ultra 7 Gen 2's. I wanted something to cover 6.5 cm, 7 rem mag, 7 PRC, and 300 RUM

out of all the Ultra series the 9 is best

If using for a lot of hunting, would you still choose an ultra 9?
What about a 338 Edge?
Big 300RUM fan. Kill anything on the planet with a simple 180gr of quality construction from Dik Dik to African Water Buffalo. If you get lucky and it's a shooter great. If it is not a shooter (junk remington years) then simply rebarrel it the exact same just add 2" to length.
Silencerco 46M....one and done. Dont know why you would....just saying you could be.

I'll have to respectfully disagree about TBAC being the best...
Check out the CGS Hekate, quietest 338 can on the Market.
I recently picked up a Hyperion and it's absolutely amazing, I've shot or owned most of them too.

I'm working on the complete Ultra set using Sako V's for the base. 7mm RUM - stock, 300 RUM - stock, 375 RUM - in process.
Kinda miss the 338 RUM that was sold to start this madness!
