Realistic 284 winchester velocities

I just finished assembling my new rifle. As the title says. I was wondering what realistic velocities for the 284 winchester in a 22 inch barrel. The specs on the rifle are a 22 inch stainless mcgowen 1-9 twist 284 win barrel on a savage short action receiver. The mag allows for Coal of 2.990. The powders I have are AA4350 , RE-17, Ramshot Hunter, IMR 4831, and Win 748.

The bullets i have are Speer 130 FB hotcors, Sierra 140 grain HPBT(hunting),Barnes 145 grain LRX, and Nosler 150 grain Ballistic tips. Also thinking about some 120 grainers. I think they would be some fast, super flat shooting rounds.

The velocities in the reloading books seem to be a little low. I'm guessing the data is slower than I expected because of the rifles the round was made for? Modern Bolt action rifles should be able to hold more pressure than the model 88's I'm sure.
Please be careful, Love the 284 Win.. I shot 150gr & 160gr, both killed with no problem. (Deer & Elk) Oh yeah, bullets were Barns

Ive mostly loaded 150 monos in my 22" 284.

I highly recommend Win Staball 6.5.

I ran the 150 Badlands BD2 to 2950ish but had light ejector dot so dropped a grain and was 2860 with a .609?G1. Great accuracy and low ES, SD.

That's some good velocities. How temp stable is the sta ball?
Did very well in my testing. Ive been running it exclusively in 6.5CM since 2020 and 284 since 2020. Tested loads in mid 90s and down to low 30s and hardly any change. Not worth worrying about to me. Its designed to be temp stabil, and in my mind they nailed it.

My loads are longer than yours in T3X with 22" Preferred Barrels prefit for a long action w custom throat but i still had powder room and wouldnt doubt if I could match it in a almost 3" load as well.

I put a Stockys carbon fiber on it as well.

Reloader 17 will get the most velocity with the 160-180 grain bullets. I can't give you velocity numbers with a 22" barrel but my 25" barrel gets 3000 fps with 162 ELDs with RL17 with a coal of 2.980. Bartlein 9 twist 5R barrel. It's a short action rifle.
Ive always read n heard that RL17 was very fast but also temp sensitive. What are your experiences on the temp stability?

Thanks for the info. The stock is alot nicer than I thought it was going to be!
