Can you explain why you chose the area to be benches or are they just hot spots ?

Just some basic armchair scouting, going off the map you posted. There doesn't appear to be a lot of benches on the sides of the ridges. Things that interest me on this map are some of the flat points on the top of the ridges. They may be decent bedding areas, but tougher to hunt. You don't want to blow them out. I prefer to hunt saddles, which are usually more of a travel area, especially ones between two major drainages.

That's what I was thinking, at first, saddles by run offs. So where you noted the saddle, that seems to be the best spot or generally where you X'ed or the 4 down below my parking marker?

Pick spots to check out. Once you have what looks like good spots, it's time to put boots on the ground!
