I've got a Christensen Ridgeline 6.5-284 with a shot out barrel. Contacted Christensen to replace it, but they don't offer that services. Guess your supposed to throw them away and buy a new one!! Lousy customer service!!! Got that out of my system. Any suggestions re/ where I should send this door stop to get a new barrel? It is the Ridgeline, Model 14 with the 26", threaded carbon wrap barrel and I want to replace like with like. This needs to be sub-MOA after the replacement. The old barrel still shoots slightly over 1 MOA, but I'm a one hole kind of shooter. Don't like my rifles shooting like shotguns!! Thanks,

For a relatively simple barrel replacement, you ought to be able to find a "local" smith that can assist you in getting the right barrel and fitting it to your action and stock.
This would be my first choice. I am lucky to have at least ten reputable GS within an hour's drive from me. I have one two miles from my house. My go-to GS since 2003 is half an hour's drive.

Good luck. 👍🎅
This would be my second choice.

If there's enough meat on the shoulder without interfering with wrap, a good GS can rechamber same caliber. Had my GS reset my 6CM and kept on shooting although it wasn't carbon wrapped. Check with a GS first.

West Elk Precision has built two rifles for me and they're both dang fine shooters. Pretty quick turnaround too. I've got another idea for a rifle and I'll have him do it as well.
