I bought the rcbs gold die after talking with rcbs and they told me that the new gold die went half way down the case =in having a gift card for cabelas i ordered it -took it apart and compared it to my old rcbs comp die and it was exactly the same [goes down on the neck not half way down] so i ate the shipping and returned it and ordered the redding! What a diff correcting my run out with win brass. I ordered it from brass world for a $109.50 cheaper than the gold comp ...and so much more of a die! thanks redding! As far as a window, i think most of us loading long range bullets use boattails anyways, so the window is a gimmick -cool idea but does nothing for me
