Is it ok to leave the unit plugged in all the time. It says to use at room temp., my reloading room is in my basement, unfinished, but well insulated, is this a problem. BTW this is going to make my reloading easier.

I leave my plugged in to a surge strip. Sometimes I turn the strip off and other times I forget it.

You could leave it plugged in all of the time but there is no reason to do so.

Leaving it plugged in, but off, accomplishes nothing but keeping the power supply warm/hot all of the time. I guess it would save you the few seconds it takes you to plug it in.:)

Plug it in, turn it on, load it with powder, calibrate it and go. I've never had a problem with mine yet.
