Ramshot LRT and/or US 869 in a 6.5 Sherman Long?

what you posted will work. You will find though that you will likely run out of room before you get where it works best. A heavier bullet will work more efficiently for you with that powder

Would you know if Ramshot LRT is as slow burning as US 869?
US869 is much slower.

I had to go back & check my records as I knew I ran a pressure test with LRT in my 6.5SS. I ran 62-70grs. with a 160 Matrix, Norma brass, WLR primer, & no issues in my set up. Slightly flat primer but no stiff bolt lift & all went in about a 1 MOA group @ 100yds. I never went further to develop a final load development.

Thanks! Were any of those compressed charges?

Yes, 67-70 if memory serves me correctly. I know 68 grains of RL33 with a 140 Hybrid is crunching kernels even after vibrating to settle the powder. LRT seems bulkier. Purely speculation, but I don't think you could fit enough LRT powder in the 6.5SS to even have an overload.
