Quick Load 358 WSM/35 Sambar Help

I have a rebore on way back from JES. Can someone help me out with some QL info for this round. Also called 35/300 WSM, 35 Sambar, 358WSM. I was told its in QL as 35 Sambar?

Looking for bullet weights of 200, 225 and 250. Barrel length is 20"

Powder I have are H4895, IMR 4895, Power Pro 2000MR,,CFE223 AA4350, IMR4350.

It is in there but you need to supply more data such as COL, H2O capacity of fired case etc if you expect some help. you might want to buy the software if you are going to work with wildcats. Its a handy thing to have.

Just this one and I cant justify it at this time if someone is willing to help. These are the ones I have seen for COL and H2O. I couldnt find one for 200gr but i would imagine its right near 225.

Cartridge : .35/300 WSM (.35 Sambar)
Bullet : .358, 225, Nosler AccuBond 50712
Useable Case Capaci: 68.678 grain H2O = 4.459 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.860 inch = 72.64 mm

Cartridge : .35/300 WSM (.35 Sambar)
Bullet : .358, 250, Nosler PART SP 44801
Useable Case Capaci: 70.787 grain H2O = 4.596 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.860 inch = 72.64 mm

QL default case capacity is 83.5 gr H2O. Thats quite a difference
I think its best to wait until you actually measure YOUR case capacity and your COL for your rifle.
Some years back I thought about doing a 338 sambar but never did it

I think the 83.5 is an empty case. THe numbers above are the useable case capacity with the bullet seated into it? I do not know how to arrive at those numbers

You weigh an empty fired case with spent primer in it. Then fill it full level with the mouth and weigh it. Subtract one from the other to get the h2o weight

As I age, lighter and shorter and handy has become of interest to me. I have had Jessie at JES Reboring rebore many, many rifles. I am curious about how your rebore came out and how it shoots? At 2800-2900 this round has to be a devastating round. We have been using 35 Whelens for black bear hunting for many years and we have been very happy with the performance of the Barnes 225gr TSX bullets. I am thinking about building one with an 18 inch barrel.
