Any recommendations for an effective, cheaply shipped to my door press lube for my RCBS press?
Reading a lot on case lubes. Maybe im missing the press lube part..Read recent post on 7mm/08 die problem.
Perfect. Thank youI use standard axle grease or lithium grease.
Correct. Thank youYou do mean, for the press it self and not the cases? If for the press, I use synthetic engine oil.
Do you have a recommendation for said solvent?Motor oil is much better in the long run.
Take the time to maintenance your press once a year, IE: clean with spray solvent, dry, inspect, re-lube and it'l last a long time. You can even check the ram runout with a magnetic dial gauge.
Thank you. I have some of that.I do automotive, so I just go to cabinet and grab the carb cleaner.
This is the only lubricant that is recommended on press rams and pivot hinges.Perfect. Thank you
