Reading a lot on case lubes. Maybe im missing the press lube part..
You do mean, for the press it self and not the cases? If for the press, I use synthetic engine oil.

The manual for my Reloader Special says to use "a gun oil."
Motor oil is much better in the long run.
Take the time to maintenance your press once a year, IE: clean with spray solvent, dry, inspect, re-lube and it'l last a long time. You can even check the ram runout with a magnetic dial gauge.

Do you have a recommendation for said solvent?
I do automotive, so I just go to cabinet and grab the carb cleaner.

This is the only lubricant that is recommended on press rams and pivot hinges.

I use a lithium grease on the hinge pins, but have started using a spray on dry Teflon lubricant on the ram. It sprays on wet and I work the handle to spread around then let dry. Will not collect dust like other lubes. Using this for a couple years now and don't see any reason to change.
