A guy I used to work with called the lottery the 401k for the mathematically challenged!

Always thought it was funny.

I will buy a ticket or two on a rare occasion (like once every 2-3 years), but realize my dollars aren't coming back.

But it would be nice to help out a lot of worthy organizations:
Reily Hospital for children
St Jude hospital for children
Heart Association
Diabetes Association
Cancer Association
Wounded Warriors - cutting deal with vehicle mfg'ers for vets that need specialized vehicle help.
Education in those low income areas that do not have the affluence for technologies.

So many worthy causes could use the help.

Nice thought but Congress not likely to be on board with term limits, no stock market investments while in Congress, no pork barrel projects, mandatory attendance to bill votes, rotation on committee heads, rotation on speaker, Constitution training, and I could keep going.
