Powder recommendations for 6mm AI and 108 ELD-M

It's not listed under 244 Remington AI is it?
Not sure why I didn't think of that. Perhaps half dozen empty Yuengling bottles had a wee bit to do with it.

Data attached for RL16, RL19, RL22, RL23, RL26, H1000, H4831SC, Ramshot Magnum, N165 and N555.

I appreciate you doing that for me. I need to bite the bullet and buy the QL but I'm probably too dumb to figure out how to use it.

Pretty simple really. Pick a cartridge, bullet and enter cartridge data (coal, h2o capacity, etc), temperature and play with charge weight. There are lots of other things to play with, but I like to keep it simple.

BTW, the data provided is based on 70 degree temp.

I've had real good look with Superformance in mine with 105 Berger.
I just picked up a 300 WSM from a member on here a couple weeks ago and have seen some impressive numbers in the books with Superformance for it but I don't know about accuracy. Does your 6mm show good accuracy with it?

Mine started as a Bergara B-14 Ridge chambered in 270 Win. I wanted the longer action in case I wanted to seat the bullets way out. I had it rebarreled with a Brux 1:8" twist in #5 profile. It came out heavier than I wanted so I am having it fluted now in hopes of shaving a little weight. It shoots good and cleans up really well. I've not settled on a load yet to really try to get it dialed in but during my fire forming of my brass I was easily able to get them under an inch without really trying. That was with Berger 108 Elite Hunters and IMR-4831. I don't remember the exact weight right off the top of my head. I've been playing with some more of those bullets and some Magpro but just getting started.

I have slightly less case capacity with my 243 and with 26 inch barrels and 9 1/8th twist and 28 inch 243ai 8 twist. Throated to make them single shots. with the best heavy rounds.

Back in the day when R22 first came out I tried it. Not worth the time I put into bench rest testing. I won't buy it ever again as of probably 25 years ago. I also tried it in 25-06, 270, and 7 mag. gave away what ever I had left in 8 pounders. So I also never tried R-23.

Ram shot hunter was a good for heavy 6 mm. Then Superformance came out and Power Pro 4000 mr. Those are my go to powders and don't even waste time trying to perfect anything else. Limited life barrels, You need to get the speed you want with acceptable case life and then fine tune your accuracy. I tend to down load and loose some FPS in favor of small groups

The Barnes 112 is a good round for the long stuff! :)

I use nothing but Magnum in the 6-284, it should work pretty well in the 6mmAI... been using IMR4831 in my 6mmAI with a 85grn Partition.

Vastly underrated bullet IMHO. Although, I have seen some jacket separations above 3400fps.
