Is it possible this combination of powder, seating depth etc prefers a warm barrel and there is another load combo that would work better?
I feel for you guys with this issue. It would drive me insane as well. I think I am fairly lucky that my LR rifle puts the first round exactly where it needs to be with all follow up shots in the same area. I have shot multiple groups at .3 MOA for my 200 yard zero to confirm all is good and have shot out to 1500 on cold bore.
I tend to lean a little toward either another load work up or possibly have another shooter shoot the rifle for a cold bore and follow up shots to see if this repeats for them as well. I am sure you can shoot, not questioning that, but I wonder if you shoulder the rifle differently on first squeeze? Just a thought.
