Pleased with the 25 cal 131 SMK

Just bought 500 of the 131 matchkings so I can finally stop shooting hornady all together. Very happy with these so far in my 25 creed, just breaking in the barrel at 2800fps. Holding about 1/2 moa so far with no load development. Just powder in a case. So far so good, hopefully they stay grouping well.

Sierra bullets are fantastic compared to Hornady inconsistency.
Enjoy your shooting with those Sierra's, one of my favourites from many moons ago and they never change.

I've been shooting Sierra bullets (for hunting) for nearly 50 years with consistent results. I do not like Hornady bullets. JMO

It's a 25 creed with an origin action, 26" pva barrel. Atacr 5x25, manners prs2

I'm not running them yet, all of my current 25's have 10" twists, but my new 257 Weatherby will be either 1:8" or 1:7" if I can find a blank. Even 1:7.5" would do, can't find any here…

I have a 1-7 twist 257 bee. Been a finicky rifle since day 1, probably going to retire it eventually and just do a 25 Saum and be done.

I would not go with a 7tw in a 257wby unless you are going to try to shoot one of those 160gr chimichanga bullets.

I run the 131's in my 25max out of a 7.5tw and it works very well.
