WOW Good JOB!
Did you epoxy the piece on or weld it?
Keep a mold of it now in case it break again and then you can have a welder/GS attach the end piece that you made.
Great Fix so you can shoot!!!!!
That piece you made can be Tig Welded on or Brazed.

I drilled and tapped the piece that I had and put a stud in it. Then I found a piece of key stock and cut it down to size and shaped it with a file. Drilled and tapped it and threaded it on and shaped it to fit down inside the receiver.

It's not very pretty but it's definitely working.

Great idea on the mold I will do this.
