I drilled and tapped the piece that I had and put a stud in it. Then I found a piece of key stock and cut it down to size and shaped it with a file. Drilled and tapped it and threaded it on and shaped it to fit down inside the receiver.WOW Good JOB!
Did you epoxy the piece on or weld it?
Keep a mold of it now in case it break again and then you can have a welder/GS attach the end piece that you made.

That piece you made can be Tig Welded on or Brazed.

It's not very pretty but it's definitely working.
Great idea on the mold I will do this.
