Pillar bedding tubberware stock

I have that weird barrel 223,I did mine ,been a while.Guessing I used pillars,but when floated so flimsy that I drill front and put two of the biggest stiffest carbon arrows I had and epoxy the whole works.Its fair in stiffness but I can twist if I try.Shot bad,now shoots good. My best group was 1/4 @ 100 with this and 69 smk.I shot coyote at 573 yrds,it was sitting.

Yes i am also getting the weird barrel 223 as it is all i could afford, did you also glass bed the rifle? How did n shoot put of the box?

It's all really going to come down to one thing the plastic stock are not very good for accuracyyou should definitely save up some coin and buy a used stock off eBay like an HS Precision or something in that route

you may be able to find one of the hogue overmolded stocks used they have them with pillars or bedding block I have used one on a friends rem. 308 a skim bed and the gun shot great

The adjustable pillers from score high are radius to the receiver.

I 2nd 25 wsm, I have shop and this a back yard gun for me.If I go out I grabe my 257 that I restocked,n pillar bed. I may do nothing with the 223.It works,funny thing probably my most accurate rifle,and basiclly stock,but 223 easy to shoot.But at range with wind like preditor hunting the 257 wby kills it

Yeah probably it'll be expensive to import and im not confident that it wont go missing at our customs.

I can probably get pillar though they might be expensive and im on a tight budget thats why asking, thanks for the info im just not sure what you mean the recoil lug part and and spraying wax is for.

Go to "you tube". Its better if you see it and listen to the authors. Lots of good info there. I can't do it by text alone. Too much to cover for your first attempt at pillar bedding.

If you purchase some threaded lamp fixture tubing used in light fixtures at your local hardware or electrical supply store. Measure drill out the floor plate screw holes.040 smaller than the threaded tube. I cut the top so a big flat tip screw driver willslide into and jam in the tube to thread them in. I also cut them about .060 short so ther is a bit of crush but not enough to make the magazine box bind up. No epoxy just some loctite vinyl fabric and plastic glue. It will allow a semi consistent torque on the action. I've also glued carbon arrows in the forend with epoxy to stiffen them. Not worth the effort on that because the epoxy will seperate/crack in severe temp changes like truck to cold winter hunting weather. It will get you by till you can get a stock.

I thought how and why in the hell would you make a Tupperware container into a stock. Showed the heading to my wife expecting to get quite the laugh out of her. With her typical look on her face( when I've done or said something STUPID) said slow your roll slick and read the title again. When she saw the look on my face she started to laugh!! Really hard. You know, that laugh your spouse has when you are the punchline of a joke. In the end We both had quite the laugh.
