Th tang needs to be free floated, bed only where the rear pillar and action touch in front of the trigger area and playdough the trigger area so bedding doesn't go in there. After curing the bedding is when I then notched the rear pillar, that way you don't have to stress out on how not to get bedding in that exposed pillar. The rear pillar can be cut out/notchedby a Dremmel easily.
