What are the specs on the thumbhole? So far, I'm thinking of going with one of the thumbholes from Stocky's, but I'm not sure which one or which color to go with.

I've heard that the thumbholes reduce the "perceived" recoil. Is that true?

with the brakes on these two guns there isn't hardly any recoil to start with. Mine barely moves shooting it free recoil (6mm284)

The yeller one is a russo widlcat modified (my gun)

The other one is a richards microfit ((kevin cram's)(MCR Rifles))

The russo stock is amazing.

Joel, how did you get the emblem on the butt of the stock? was it engraved or some sort of stamp that was pressed into the wood using ink or heat?
