You're from Anthem, visit Rio Salado Range. Derrick Martin used to own the gunsmithing shop right behind the range. I believe Derrick sold the shop to a young smith, who would most likely was trained by Derrick on Service Rifles. Derrick was an armorer for the Guard Shooting Team. Whoever is running that shop now should be able to help. Plus, the range is just right there to function test.
You are in a great place to shoot mid range matches with your 308 Garand, Ben Avery, Rio Salado, South Mountain. During the shooting season we shot prone matches at those 3 ranges. I was there for 3 years managing projects for the company.
