I'm from Baker County originall. Baker, Haines, North Powder, Stumper, Richland & Halfway.
But I married a valley girl, & she wouldn't move to my part of the world, & there's No freakin way I'm living over there, so we bought a house in Central Oregon.
I like it alright. I try to avoid Bend, but the folks around Redmond, & smaller surrounding areas seem pretty nice. Don't get me wrong, I'd Way rather be "home" in Baker Co. somewhere, but this beats the wet side by a WIDE margin!
If you know anybody from those areas I mentioned, fling me a P.M. & we'll compare notes.
