Hey all,

Selling my range toy. Probably only has 150-200 rounds through the barrel. It's a savage model 10. Blind magazine. It's glass Bedded into a Boyd's stock. I put a 7 twist 26" Shilen barrel with the precision ground barrel nut and recoil lug from Northland Shooter supply on it a few years ago and I honestly just don't shoot it much. It likes Berger 105gr VLDs over IMR 4831 and a BR2 LRP. It's heavy. Around 12lbs without the bipod or anything. Muzzle is threaded 5/8"x24.

Scope is a bushnell engage 4-16x44 with the deploy MOA reticle. Locking turrets. Set in Talley rings.

I'll throw in a set of RCBS .243 dies as well

Whole package shipped in a Walmart hard case from FFL to FFL (can't find anyone to ship a gun any other way it seems anymore) $950. I'll take $900 if you want to face to face. Located in SE Arizona. Travel to the Phoenix area somewhat often.

Would trade even across for a pair of 9x45 Maven B.2 binos or a pair of 18x56 Maven B.5 binos with a little cash on my end. Might even trade for an equivalent value over under or sxs 20ga shotgun.

I'd entertain trades for random rifles too. I don't have anything in particular in mind.

Ship My Gun, the service works great, I've used it a few times now. It hasn't cost over $45 to ship a rifle yet. It makes it extremely easy to ship firearms. Just input a few simple measurements of the package, package weight, and FFL address and it'll spit you out a price. Drop off your package at the UPS hub and they scan your package in no questions asked, and no hassle. You might even schedule a pickup, it's just easier for me to run to the hub and drop it off.

Appreciate the heads up. I'll make sure they work here in my area and use them if I need to ship.

I also make my rifles as short as possible, by separating barreled action from the stock. Protecting the trigger by encasing in card board. I save and reuse alot of shipping materials, especially bubble wrap. A my wife dislikes shopping in town, I get a lot delivered to the house.

I use a lot of plastic wrap from Dollar General to keep things wrapped tight. I stopped using cheap hard cases and use soft side cases inside cardboard over pack. If I can get the overall length of package close to 30" or less it saves money. I have been using these NC Star cases as of late to ship rifles in. I can reduce the length of case by folding over the ends easily.

However, it'll be tough to get a 26" barrel with action to fit a 30" long box and keep all the the other dimensions small as well.
