I purchased new, and have 200 rounds down the barrel. I followed the factory barrel break in protocols. If you're looking for a sub 7lbs suppressed rifle, this is the easy button.

Honestly, it's too much of a good thing for me. I want a light rifle, but not this light. I had a few issues with the rifle that could have been fixed under warranty, but my one experience with Legacy Sports warranty took almost a year to resolve. So I've paid to fix the issues with my GS and I wouldn't have if I didn't think the rifle wasn't worth it.

The main issues were the bolt shroud rubbed the scope base, scoring a line in the alloy base. Weak ejection, the ejected round just kind of dribbled out. Also a weak magazine retention spring causing feeding issues, as the magazine would shift under recoil and not pick up the next round.

You an see where the bolt shroud rubbed in this picture.

I had the base milled off and re-coated to stop the rubbing. I also had a stiffer spring installed in the ejector. The magazine retention spring was reworked to hold the detachable magazine in place better. So far I haven't had issues with stripping rounds from the magazine since.

20" 1:10 twist 1/2-28 threads, 3 round polymer mag.

4lbs 10oz, so it's a little heavier than advertised.

7lbs 7oz with 4-20X50 Athlon Ares BTR Gen2 and Omega .300 suppressor. Scope wouldn't track properly so I replaced it later.

Final configuration 7lbs 0.8oz whith 3-10X42 NF SHV and Omega .300.

You can probably shave easily 8 oz minimum with different suppressor and optic choices. Recoil is pretty snappy without suppressor or brake. I'm sure a lot of people can shoot a light .308 better than I can. I'll be happy to discuss this rifle by email, text, or phone just send me a message if interested.

Scope, rings and suppressor are not included. $800 shipped from non FFL to yours, actual shipping cost if I must ship through an FFL.

This is crossposted on other forums as well.

Things I'm looking for:

Dillon 750xl or Hornady LNL AP press.
Leica Geovid-R 10X42 binoculars or other 10X rangefinding binos.
Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph
Proof Research or other manufacturer .308 1:10 or faster CF Sendero Light 20" barrel blank.
Stainless barrel 3b or lighter contour, 1:8 or faster twist .277 blank.

I could also use some stockwork.
I need fitting, bedding, and finishing a Wildcat Composite stock to my M70 .270 WSM. Or some custom metal and stock work for a M70 .375 Ruger rifle.

Hit me up with what you have and we'll work out an amicable trade.
