Looking at the numbers for Hornady's 178gr ELD-X Precision Hunter .308 Win ammo - it'll get you very close to the 7-08 162gr ELDM load @ 1000 yards. I like it.

30 inches of barrel loaded out loong in a 308 is fantastic... BUT, All up in the same pajamas........Will it do it then?

I load 308 Win 700 R SA with the 208 eldm to 2640 fps .690 claimed BC, mag length, with 22" 5R 9 twist Bartlein barrel, 7.5 lbs without scope. The 715 BC 200 gr SMK at 2740 fps is a good load but it's single load ...not a big deal for long range in the 22" to help extend its range.
But I have a long action 308 and a long barrel too...for the extra power

At 900 (couldn't read the 1000yd mark in the OP) The 708 round is 265fps faster, drops 3.5ft less, 242 more ftlbs of energy, and you consider that data to be close to a 178 ELDX in this chart you posted?
