Opinions Wanted On Barreled Action Finish

I think the improved acid wash finish that Joel Russo showed a while back would look good with a gloss blued receiver. I am considering that for a Remington 722 that I have. But as Feenix said it is a personal choice. Whatever you build has to suit you, but I would like to see finished pictures.

I assume this rifle is for Hunting, as well as for fun shooting. If so, satin finishes lessen the reflected glare. Flat finishes even more. Then comes camo finishes, and soft hazy color patches and patterns. For most effectiveness, it should mimic the vegitation of the area you hunt. You do use camo, right?!?
Yes... I was looking for something of different color or finish.
I think I've about made up my mind.

I thought that was really interesting as well. If I try that... i'll definitely need to practice on scrap stainless to learn the technique.

Now I have seen this new acid wash and then clear Ceracoat and in this case I will eat my words I think that looks awesome!
