One less Elk in Montana

The 300 Wby sure had fun this weekend. My ol back didn't. Shot this bull Saturday @ 366 yards with a 180 gr TSX. 50" main beams, 9 1/4" bases with a rough score of 340".

The last photo show a 300Wby case just under 4" long. Nice mass eh?

Ya , the Bulls are a tough tag to draw. This bull was harvested about 120 miles west of the Bulls.

I'd agree 100% , BUT the wife wonders if a 30 caliber will do it, why do you need another rifle . Bla , Bla , Bla I'm still working her on a new 338.

I'm really impressed with the TSX's so far. I've harvested 2 Elk, 7 deer and 5 antelope with these so far and have nothing but one shot success on each animal. This bull was hit through the rib's. The entrance slipped between two rib's , but the exit broke 3 rib's and turned the vitals into jello He was down almost as fast as I could get the scope back on him.
