Hello shooters. I've been trolling this site for the last year and finally decided to join up so I could post questions and learn from your experiences. I'm currently working on loads for 3 guns new to me. A 25-06 Ackley improved (110 eld-x), a 280 ackley improved (165 gr sierra tgk), and a 7mm Prc (175 gr eld-x)

I'm currently in the Colorado Springs area. Lived down there for 5 yrs , fw them Springtown. Did some good n deer hunting near Perrin but never got to pull the trigger

Welcome to long range hunting, from the piedmont of northeast georgia. Great to have you on board.....your 280 ackley is a great caliber and gets the most out the 28 caliber without being overbore. I use the 139 grain hornady with a max load of imr 4831. Get great accuracy and velocity too.
