Back then, when I spent some time in the Philippines, snakes were sort of scarce in certain places. It seems like the locals "over harvested" the creatures for hides to make wallets, shoes & whatever. In other places that were restricted the snakes were abundant,.

On the drive home from work there was a dead snake stretched across I30. Belly up 10-12 feet long. Bright yellow belly. Does not belong on central Arkansas expressway. Was where it crosses a swamp. Not far from the river. Someone please tell my it was a recently escaped pet and didn't travel up river from LA. We don't need this!!!!

A snake that long doesn't belong anywhere. Bill

Growing up a friend of mine's older cousin had a 14 foot python I'm not sure what kind ,he would feed it whole chickens
