You're correct in your assessment of vertical dispersion, but the OCW method has you look at center of group POI and find the 3 with the closest POI, ideally the same POI regardless of group size, as this is going to provide "forgiving powder throws and changes to point of impact due to temp changes."
But I dont see a problem with you working at 43.0. Looking at your target I think it's safe to assume you're a competent shooter, based on things you've said previously I'm certain you're much more experienced reloader than I am, so I think you'll be able to make it work.
But strictly going by the OCW method it's not the most ideal charge based on the 3 shot groups you posted.

Exactly! 43.1 has the same group center as 42.9 & 43.3..... it really looks like a closed deal to me, but wanted opinions in case i may have missed something

43.1 would probably be fine. There are a couple indicators that say that's the spot. If the wierd group at 42.5 is the scatter node, that would indicate the accuracy node at 43.1. There isn't another easy to identify scatter group and there really should be one somewhere in your target.

Looks like to me that you have a "sweet" spot between 42.7 and 43.3 with 43.1 being the best!

I would shot at a longer distance if possible, out to 3-500 and start there. I find it interesting that your lowest charge weight shot the highest on the paper. That's not how OCW is supposed to work, although there are anomalies to everything, I suppose.
Also, I would try to take as much "human" out of it as possible. Practice is one thing, load development to find what the rifle likes best is another. If you can duplicate a round robin OCW at 3-500yds, I would start there and I think you'll be able to pinpoint your nodes better. From your target, I would say you have a node around 42 and another node around 43.

2,600fps+ was the goal....43.1 is 2,620... i just dont see the need in finding a hotter load.....that should be good to 800y

I would also pay attention to the wind and write down what direction and velocity it was. even at 100 yds, left to right POI shift *could* be wind.

I like the 43.1 load if I am reading your chart correctly. Move to 300, maybe 500 and shoot 5 rounds at 43.1. Use a Lab Radar on these rounds too. You are almost done, hang in there!
