Today I did some shooting g to figure out a good OCW load. But the load that looked good on paper was terrible with ES. I am shooting a .338 Edge with H1000 and .300 otms at .15 off the lands. Which load do I go with and how do I lower ES?

I should add that I shot about 2 weeks ago and the es on my loads were 100fps+. I went to the store and bought a rcbs scale to check against my hornady dispenser. I called for 91.5 gr and the scale spit out 91.2, 91.7, 92.2. Needless to say, I only use this scale to dispense powder and now use my rcbs to weigh charges. This OCW is with the new scale

Having been through things like this before I would JB Weld/Marine Tex that base to the action and use some liquid electrical tape on the scope rings.

Other options would be to try the SMK's.
